It was time for this Texas family to get their tenses straight. So the four of them devoted a vacation to studying and playing at a language school in Mexico. My sincere thanks for the outstanding job you and El Quijote did in personally arranging and following through with every aspect of my three-week stay in Guanajuato. Your warm and friendly personality along with your attention to my specific needs made both my stay with my host family and my experience at the Falcon Academy a most enjoyable experience. Being out of the Disney organization I know and appreciate attention to details and to truly professional and hospitable treatment. In my book you scored a five star rating in both categories. I will not hesitate to recommend you and your services to anyone thinking of visiting Guanajuato to study Spanish.

My stay in Guanajuato was a dream. When people ask me, "How was Mexico?" I say, "It was perfect!" I went as a beginner, and left as a "middle intermediate". Going as a beginner was a little scary for me, but using El Quijote was the best decision I could have made when planning my study abroad. Once I arrived, Nikki took away all of my anxieties. I instantly felt welcome, and any strange questions I had she answered with great understanding. Having her as a resource was invaluable. She is very knowledgeable about Guanajuato, and Mexico in general. She knows what to see, where to shop, who sells the best street ice cream, and anything else you want to know! And she takes care of everything for you, from arranging your host family, to enrolling you in classes. It's a huge relief! My host family was also amazing. When I was there I met people who decided not to stay with a host family. I quickly realized how much better I had it! And so did they! My experiences with my host family were some of the most valuable ones I had while in Mexico. My family was loving and welcoming, and the food was awesome! The city is very easy to become acquainted with, it felt like home within a couple weeks. With the city, combined with Nikki, and my host family, I remember thinking to myself, "This does not feel like a foreign country to me. It's like home, but more magical, and in Spanish!" Go with an open mind (and through Nikki!) and anyone can have that experience. And it'll be really hard to leave!
